Routine wellness exams allow us to monitor your pet's health and to catch problems early if they should arise. We recommend wellness exams twice yearly. Wellness care includes a comprehensive physical examination, behavioral evaluation, parasite prevention, and vaccination. Our ultimate goal is to do everything that we can to ensure that your pet lives a long, happy, and healthy life!
Our veterinarians perform a complete nose to tail examination on all pets, whether they are being seen for an illness or for vaccinations. A thorough examination enables our doctors to detect abnormalities and address changes that may indicate early onset of disease.
Our entire team is Fear Free®Certified to keep your pet comfortable and calm during their appointment to reduce the likelihood of creating fear, anxiety, and stress in our veterinary clinic setting.
During wellness visits, we provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. If your pet should have special dietary concerns or you would like a diet formulated especially for your pet, we can collaborate with a boarded veterinary nutritionist.
